UNN 2012/2013 POST-UTME SCREENING ONLINE REGISTRATION FORMS/SCRATCH CARDS

Written By Henry Divine on Sunday | 10:12 AM

That the dates and details of the 2012/2013 post UTME screening exercise of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) have been announced is no longer news. The publication from the University Registrar was released on Tuesday, 29th of May 2012. According to the publication, the screening will be conducted only at the Nsukka campus of the University from Monday, June 18 to Wednesday, June 20, 2012. To go through the full details again, CLICK HERE.
ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION
Candidates who scored 200 or above in their 2012 UTME are expected to obtain a scratch card (N2,000) for online pre-registration at "any branch" of
 - First Bank of Nigeria Plc,
 - Diamond Bank Plc, in the major cities of the Federation, and the
 - University of Nigeria Micro-Finance Banks at Enugu and Nsukka.
Online Pre-registration commenced on Friday, June 01, 2012 and would end on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.

DIFFICULTY IN GETTING UNN POST UME SCRATCH CARDS IN DIFFERENT CITIES/STATES
Many candidates have called to report that they were unable to discover any banks in their cities selling the UNN post UME registration scratch cards as at Friday, 1st June (which was supposed to be the date for the commencement of online registration).
By tomorrow (Monday, 4th June), the scratch cards would have sold for four (4) out of the twelve (12) days scheduled for both the sales of the scratch cards and online pre-registration. So by the end of tomorrow, we would have less than eight days to go. Yes, it's less than eight days because most banks don't operate on Saturdays and Sundays. Do your best to procure your scratch card and tidy up your registration within the stipulated period. Remember. Candidates who are not able to register on or before 12th of June will not be screened.
If you don't know which bank branches are selling the scratch cards in your city of residence, visit our FACEBOOK FORUM to find out from other candidates in your area who have bought the cards. Better still, you can call me on 08060848179 to order for your scratch card. The access code for your online pre-registration will be sent to you (via sms) once you place your order.
I won't end this article without letting you know that, most times, difficulty to carry out online registration increases as the deadline for registration approaches. Do your best to register before the last two (2) days of registration and don't forget to call for your SureSuccess (UNN POST UTME PAST QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS).
Best wishes from yours sincerely, HD.

    3. You can register in the comfort of your living room if you have a PC with internet access. If not, go to a cyber cafe and do your registration. Don't forget to print your registration slip at the end.

    1. Hello Samuel, congratulations on the completion of your UNN post UME online pre-registration. I don't think there's any other thing "that requires your attention in the school before the exam." Just make sure that you leave for Nsukka in time so as to avoid any hitches or disappointments. Best wishes from yours sincerely.

    1. Victor I think you are being a bit too fast here. It's nice to hear that you have completed your on-line pre-registration but that's just the first step in the UNN post-UTME and Admission process. In a short while, the post UME examinations will be conducted and the results released. Thereafter, you start talking about admission lists. So let's take one step at a time.
When the admission lists get released, they will be posted on the internet for candidates to freely download. For now, focus on your preparations to ensure that whenever and wherever the admission lists are posted, your name will be there.

    1. For some obvious reasons, you need to be in your designated hall by 8am. Except you are used to the campus environment or someone is there to guide you, you may need to leave your room in time so as to be able to locate whichever hall your department is placed.
